  • Under the mentorship of Harry Lodge, M.D., I co-founded a writing program called Writers in Residency for the house staff at NewYork-Presbyterian to teach interns and residents how to translate their experiences into writing

  • Following the success of Writers in Residency, I established The Faculty Writing Project, in which applicants to the program got a mini-journalism school education tailored to the needs of the CUMC faculty, from the medical school and the School of Public Health

  • Worked one-on-one with the faculty to conceptualize, edit, and pitch their stories that related to research, current events, personal anecdotes, and more. 

  • Established a partnership between Writers in Residency and the Associated Press, and participants published to places including Time.com, The Huffington Post, and Medium
